Automatic column linkage

My truck was a 300 6/ 3 on the tree when I bought it and I did a bbf/ c6 swap with a B&M Pro stick floor shifter. I want to put a column shift in it now but not sure what all I will need. I have an automatic steering column for it and the lever appears to be on the trans. Is it just a linkage from the column to the trans? Its a 2wd. Any pics would be greatly appreciated.

It's a simple linkage, just a single rod from the arm on the steering column to the arm on transmission.
Here are a couple of pictures from my project. The first shows the shift rod going down from the steering column. The second is after the cab was removed. it shows the rod connected to the trans.

Perfect man thanks. They have one at the u pull it ill grab it tomorrow. Ill have to make the reverse lights work though since it was a stick truck originally. Is the switch in the column or on the trans? I already have the reverse light wires ran to the aftermarket shifter.

73-77 the neutral start/back-up light switch is on the column, under the dash just in front of the firewall. On 78-79 the switch is mounted on the trans, the shift arm goes through the switch.

You should be able to get them at any parts store. Most aftermarket suppliers still have them, NPD (FTE sponsor), LMC, Rockauto (FTE sponsor) has them too for around $65.00. I have seen them for up to $100.00, so it pays to shop around.
