Licence plate light

Well my right licence plate light bulb was out, so i just went out to replace it. Had no idea how to get it out so i noticed a little place on the cover that typically would be to put a screwdriver in so you can pry it off. NOT. Now i have a broken light assembly, and am trying to find a new one. Anyone know the part number?? thanks !

I think you have to get at those bulbs from the backside...

Partsguyed will get it cheap for you.

I found it now, except the front part is $7 and the back part which is discontinued is $114

so im going to order the front part and if i have to i will be super glueing them together...

Figures, Ford can't even make a license light one piece.

$114!? That thing should be $10!

The front cover is $8 while the socket and <1 foot harness is $114. ridiculous..

same thing happened to me

I'm an idiot I guess. But I knew deep down it would be hard to change a simple light bulb. I broke the front cap off it too. After reading about the money for new ones I'm going to glue it back too or buy after market led's. I bought an led one for my snowmachine trailer and it's water proof and cool..cheap too.
