I have a 1977 F250 Camper special that I have been working on and for the life if me I can't find new licence plate light sockets that look the same or connect the same. The ones I have on the truck are rusted badly and one broke off when I was trying to take it off. They have a threaded portion that comes straight out of the back of the light with a single wire in the middle of the threaded portion. They have a nut to tighten down the unit! I know I can rig of some Napa stuff but it may be a bit wonky and I would like to avoid that. Any ideas?????

plus there are several more dealer/suppliers that have one.
My local autoparts stores have them in either the 'help' or 'bulb' sections...like 3.99 each. If you're worried about them matching, snag 2. They don't have a Ford part number, but they do the job.
