I have read on here but cannot seem to find where that the assebly lube with the head studs isnt that great and to use something else, what are my options to get at local auto parts stores? and i also believe there was a debate on the correct torque specs? any help is appreciated

You should use the lube the headstuds come with. That is the only way you will know what spec to go with on torque. If you use the new ARP molly lube the finnal torque is 210 if its the old lube it's 240

Different lubes will change the amount of frictional resistance, while still maintaining the desired amount of bolt stretch.
