help truck wont start 08 6.4 diesel
I have a 08 250 6.4 I shut the truck off and went to restart it and it wouldn't turn over not even a click is there an fuse some where that may have blown thanks for any help Jim

make sure the truck is in park, set the e-brake, turn the key on
at the right side battery the is a 2" long or so black connector that is round. disconnect that and jump the male side it to the positive side of the battery. this may get you up and running.

thanks for the reply I put the diagnostic programer on the truck and it showed a u0073 code I reset it and the truck strarted and ran fine the rest of the way to the track on the way home it did it again same code. Btw when it done it the 2nd time I was driving along and it started make loud noises and the truck starrted to run real crappy. From what I read its a bus communication error but I wonder what causes it . I have and H&S Mini Maxx and 4" downpipe back exuast. any info would be greatly appreicated and thanks again Jim

none the less there are 2 common places I have found network issue to happen at.
under the dash there are 2 large connectors. check them both
the second spot is behind the air box. there is a flat connector not far away from the pcm.
