First of all, hi everybody.
Got this van a couple of months ago and the steering on it is pretty loose. Long story short, I will be replacing the whole steering linkage and ball joints this week-end. I had a closer look today and I noticed that the right link is rubbing on a radiator hose. then i found a schematic on the net (which i will attach to the post) showing the tie rod ends pointing upwards (year 1996)... obviously I'm starting to wonder whether what I have on the van right now has been properly installed. Can someone please confirm which way the tie rod ends should go in???
Been a long time since I changed any out on a vehicle, but from what I remember most had a taper on them so they only went in one way without special machining of parts. If you have the replacements already, take a look at them.
