2006 axle removal

2006 axle removal

Have an 06 with the three torx screws that hold the hub lock on. Can't figure out how to release the axle stub shaft from the hub assy. There is a gear on the end of the shaft that must be hiding the lock ring? Any help would be appreciated.

Hubs?

My locking hubs are junk, anyone making aftermarket hubs? Maybe a manual lock replacement. Thanks.

Last time I looked the only thing offered for 2005 and up is from Dynatrac for around 2k, you have to change everything out.

Might be mistaken tho, it has been a couple of years.
