Another newbee fluid ?????
[COLOR=black]OK since all of my other questions regarding my new beast have been answered so thoroughly. I am gonna give it another shot.
After some research on FTE I have found it a bit confusing whether or not I should get my trans fluid changed, and if so should I get the filter changed also? My friend is going to do it so I know whatever i purchase is going to be put in. I am thinking of going Royal Purple in the Trans and Diff. I am not a DIY guy but am trying to learn... SO are there different types of RP or is it just one type for trans and one for the diff's? Should I do both Differentials front and back? I am not planning on having the trans flushed, but is there anything else I should have done while hes under there? I am changing the oil to mobil 1 high mileage synthetic and a mobil 1 filter. This will be my first DIY oil change. I am also doing a seafoam treatment throughout.
Oh and I do not do any towing.
