Check engine light
I have done everything to my possible in my bag of trick but all I can say is the check engine light is here to stay.
5.0L 4x4 Mazda 5 Speed 3.55 gear 33" tires getting 10 to 12 mpg
Know facts:
-Truck is not burning fuel properly
-When I back off the throttle the light goes away Giving me the idea that it is vacuum
- When I start in the am idle fluxes
-when leaving the traffic light from idle to 1500 rpm it's a dawg to move than she get some power
What can I do to fix this pesky problem???

You're not giving enough info to get anything more then shot the dark guess type responses.
Run the KOEO self test and post any codes found.
Include maintenance history IE; last full tune up and any thing you've done in attempts to correct the problem/s IE; parts you replaced. Results of tests you've done, say taken fuel pressure readings for example.
With that info you'll be able to get responses based on something solid.

I have replaced the vacuum solenoid that controls the EGR valve vacuum and I have also replaced the EGR positioning sensor
