tailgate latch assembly

tailgate latch assembly
just recieved tailgate handle and latch assembly from LMC. Now how to install it? most of it looks pretty staight forward and i think I can figure it out with one exception. how do you install the 4 "tube nuts" that hold the mounting plate to the tail gate? thanks for any info you may have. alsodo you attach the connecting rods to the latchs or handle first?

You will need to see the parts catalog illustration to install the tailgate latch, because there are more parts involved...than you're prolly aware of.
4 phillips head screws retain the lock plate to the tailgate. Don't see any tube nuts.
If the handle came separate from the latch, you will need the special bolt (C4TZ-99431D72-A) to attach it along with a nut, two washers.
2 clips retain the lock rods to the latch lever (C4TZ-99431A75-A).
