7.3IDI Options?

1994 is a very confusing year for the 7.3 diesel engine! LOL. When you go get parts for a 1994 7.3 diesel you could end up with parts for a 7.3 IDI non turbo, a 7.3 IDI factory turbo, or a 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel! Check the 8th digit on the VIN, M is IDI non turbo, K is IDI factory turbo, and F is a Powerstroke. 1994 1/2 is when they went to the Powerstorke.

I got an 87 6.9 block sitting in my garage....Send me a PM if you need anything or something....if you dont I am hauling it away to scrap(engine blocks are 195 dollars a ton, this has everything on it....minus the IP, INjectors, and GP's)

I've never checked but is there enough room in a 49' to stick a 6.9? Thinking width at exhaust manifolds and frame width.
Length could be a problem with a 5.9 cummins!
I've thought about a 5.9 cummins in a chev 5 window but not thought enough to start checking for room.
