Pity the filter didn`t solve it. My guess would be a bad front pump, you would need to put a pressure gauge on it to verify.
Could, I suppose, also be a broken trans input shaft.
I assume you did refill it with around 16-17qts of fluid (if torque converter drained)?

yeah i did.. i did that stupid "ask a ford expert" for 20 bucks and drug him out for 3 hrs lol.. but he said the same thing.. he was thinking the stator went or the imput shft stripped out. my thoughts on the shaft would be that the "teeth" on the shaft would have to go somewhere and make noise though.. think im gonna drop it out and swing it by a tranny shop and have them check it over fully and if needed just rubuild it.. or drop a manual in it bcuz a friends dad is swappin his from manual to auto
