We're just not using it like we had intended, so it's a waste for her to just run around town with-someone else can get much more use out of it than we can. Gonna miss the space and the power, but wife wants something more fuel efficient and smaller to drive around everyday. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post10440831

and now is a good time to sell a good car with used prices bouncing off the ceiling !
The wife's new Audi sure puts my 'OLD' 05 to shame (but I can still outrun her!)
Yep, it's so...Wife wants an AWD Flex, and I get to choose the powertrain, so it's getting an Ecoboost Just have to sell this first, and then find one to deal on.

Good choice with the Flex. They have what I would argue to be one of the best second row seats out there. It's roomier than even the Excursion's second row. And the EcoBoost...that Flex is going to fly

Yep, that's what's selling me on it-the 2nd row seating, and the ecoboost. Test drove a loaded out Limited in Houston today. They're a rocket. I'm sold on it, now I just either have to sell this Excursion, or find a dealer willing to offer me a good fair trade in on it.

Good luck, Johnny. Thanks for adding to the forum whenever you posted.

I'm not going anywhere..still have the F250 and the work truck F150. Plus it looks like someone's gotta get a fire built in the Crossover and EcoBoost forums.

I meant here in the Ex forum. I know ya still have the other Blue Oval rigs!
Any plans to mod the EcoBoost engine? I've seen some guys over the SHOForum with SHOs running high 12s in the 1/4.
When I do finally get the Flex (probably end of this year-early next year), it's gonna get a tune-post basic warranty, and that's probably it. As for right now-wife is getting a 2010 Kia Soul Sport that we're picking up Saturday. It was cheap, and is perfect for her to run around here in.

I see. A tune seems to be all the EcoBoost engines need to really liven them up.
Im just parting my guy out...decided not to outright sell. tough decision to let our exes go but we gotta do what we gotta do. I dont have kids or horses any more so im just going to harley my way through life now. with a pick up when needed. we love our exes but sometimes ya just gotta let em go
Here's what I replaced it with: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...c08b2a9&type=1
So far, my wife loves it, and honestly, I like it too. It's well built, has excellent safety features, Drives great, sips fuel compared to even the most efficient Excursion, and has tons of passenger space. It is down on cargo space, and can't tow, but that's what I have an F250 for.
