my other code reader had yellow on emissions and a egr symbol flashing and a couple other ones flashing I assume it was from the batts getting unplugged and obdII had not compleated testing in all zones yet since
I will plug it in again this weekend to see if the good code reader gets anything

hey blades, you remember the oil cooler housing bolt torque?.i didnt get any instructions, and the cooler came in the housing already.i figured it would come bare with gaskets.
steel
I went 16ft/lbs on the oil cooler housing to engine block
are those the ones your talking about
Yeah, those were the ones.thanks everyone for all the help.id rep ya but I don't know how?????also,I ended up leaving the cooler loose for the install.can't believe the amount of crush on the front donut o ring needed to get the intake manifold flat on the heads.when I set it on it sure wasn't flat like I'm used to seeing.
click the heart in the right hand top corner of persons post you wish to rep
I noticed that donut on the intake was alot fatter than the original to
I swapedthe old oring back in it made things fit better its so fat theres no way it could leak unless damage
Got it all in and buttoned up yesterday.fired right up and runs excellent.haven't had a chance to take it down the hiway yet but I will soon.did the blue spring and my fuel pressure went from 60 at idle and 45 at wot to a constant 75 psi.can definitely feel a difference in throttle response.one question though.....since doing the spring I can hear my fuel pump humm at idle.I'm contributing it to the increased pressure.anyone else have this happen?. The truck runs better than ever.
