so i just installed my FICM i got back from someone that repaired it and now the only code its throwing is a P2552, What would cause this code?
When i looked up what the code ment i get: Throttle/Fuel inhibit Circut/ Open, Not sure what that means. Please advise
i was hoping you wouldnt say that cause i just got this new one it has been on the truck for a day, is there anything else that might cause this? also just to make sure since i am a newb at this stuff, the only things to hook up when reinstalling the FICM are the three plugs on the bottom and bolting it up right?
I have not seen this code w/ a bent pin or a connector that wasn't fully snapped in, but maybe someone else has? I hate electrical issues (as do most of us I would guess)!
Have you tried re-setting the codes (disconnecting the batteries and turning the lights on for 30 minutes or so)? Did you get a voltage mod on the repaired FICM? Can you send it back to whoever did the repair (maybe they have a testing bench)? Have you tried disconnecting and re-connecting the 3 connectors (make sure you hear them click).
Yes, it is just the 3 connectors and then bolt it down.
I have not tried resetting the codes will do that when i get home tonight, but the truck runs great, 100 times better than before i sent it in and yes i can send it back to the person that repaired it as i got a 4 year warranty with it...just hoping i dont need to do that as i was already out a vehicle for a week the first time i sent it in. And no i didnt do a voltage mod just got it back to working order.
