I have an 05 F250 with 5.4. ok first was cooling the inside of my truck "AC" I put a 16" electric fan on my truck and put it on as a pusher just like the stock fan. Well long story short My AC went out in my truck everything checked out fine but fan was not working so took it to the shop and was told I needed dual e-fans. so they installed a 12" as a pusher as well. He told me my condinser need air blown on it for my ac to work. Ever since this my ac has worked good while driving, bad traffic, or stopped at a light it blows hot air. whats the fix? turn the one around as a puller?
Also they have both fans wired to one system and my positvie wire gets hot when the fans come on and will blow the inline fuse after a while and by blow I mean melt down. Should I upgrade the gauge and fuse? I think its like a 14-12 gauge and its a 30 fuse.
You will only need a single fan controller, but that wire gauge and relay need to be larger. A 70-75Amp relay is ideal, 8-10 wire gauge, 40-50amp fuse.
