dpf/cat delete question

Well guys, I went against popular opinion and bought the used Edge. Installed it and drove about 50 miles so far. It's in the stock mode of course since I have the DPF on. So for $300 I got a 4 place monitor that will show me 4 items. I can choose from about 10 items. It also has alarms for many of the critical performance parameters. It's a lot more versitile than the gages on the pillar like I had on the 7.3. I now have an alarm when regen starts and a monitor until it finishes. last night I ordered a DPF/CAT delete pipe. I intend to delete and reset the Edge to DPF gone/stock mode and see what happens. All I'm trying to acheive is oil that is free of diesel fuel and soot. More later.
