Power steering problem

I have a problem that started a couple of days ago with the power steering. When I turn the steering wheel it wants to keep turning. If I am parked I can spin the wheel and let go and it keeps rotating. When I am driver I have no road feel and it will not center itself. I believe this is a pressure valve problem. Would this be in the steering box or the pump. How difficult is it to replace the pump or steering box?
Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

Sorry guys I forgot to add that this truck is a 2003 f-350 w/ a 6.0 diesel. Recently upgraded ( or not) from a 1997 7.3. The tree won the battle with the 97
