Audio upgrade

I have my 2011white tri coat F350 CC King Ranch dually five months now. Other than door seal mod and some husky mats I haven't done much to it. Just had some audio work done. Installed the box I had made for my 08 by SPL2K (i think that was his name) with the JL 13 installed with an Alpine MRP-500M. Also had an Alpine PDX-6 digital amp installed for doors and tweeters. I wanted to change the speakers but the shop I go to told me "let me install it this way and if you don't like it then we will upgrade the other speakers". I have to say it sounds real damn good. Clean and crisp. Way better than i thought factory stuff could sound.

Did you keep the factory head unit? What interface did you use to tie the head to the amp?

I just replaced the front door speakers so far, but I have the SPL2K box and the 13" shallow-mount JL sub ready when I pick an amp and an interface. I think I am going to then move the JL speakers I just put in the front doors to the rear locations and replace those with a set of Focal separates.
