Starter button with 12 volt system?

Thanks everyone, I will start looking for a 52-53 Starter button. My Plan is to use an original style ignition switch and a starter button. and removing the newer style ignition switch that has the start cycle built in. So if I got it right I will need to connect the "Starter" wire from the newer style switch to the starter button, and run a jumper from the original style switch "run" stud. Using a 2 prong starter button was what was stumping me.
