Good evening my northern neighbors!
I'm out in SoCal headed home tomorrow...not looking forward to returning back to that heat!!!
Hope everyone is having a great week...I'll be traveling most of the day tomorrow...so I figured I'd say hey tonight!

so, it was 92 yesterday.. supposed to be 90+ today.. how the hell did I get a cold 
Thats all right, the neighbor came back from Mexico yesterday, brought us a bottle of Tequila.. that should cure it
of course, nothing feels like a tequila hangover

Good morning everyone!
I am in charge of my church softball team. Two nights ago, I got a phone call from a friend, asking that I call a guy whom our church helped at Safe Harbor (homeless shelter rotated among local churches). He wanted to play, but couldn't afford it and he doesn't have a car or license. I told him to not worry about either, I would take care of it.
Last night was his first game ever. He got three hits, caught a pop fly, scored at least twice, even slid at second! The thing I will never forget, was the look on his face when I presented him the game ball. It was obvious to all of us that he was taken aback by how strangers could accept him and rally around him.
It touched my heart to see someone appreciate so much, something that I take for granted everyday. God has shown me that you don't have to do big things to make a difference in people's lives.

Thanks! I got a phone call this morning before 6am from a friend saying he had a message from the guy saying how thankful he was and how much he appreciated it.

Hey Torr, I was just looking on the NWS and there's some nasty storms slliding through there. We had one last night sirens, lightning and high winds with hail. I was in the middle of an MRI of my back came out and Herself asked if I heard the overhead announcement of the storm warning. Uh, no YOU CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING IN THERE EXCEPT THE MUSIC IN THE HEADPHONES.

Pat don't come to south Texas you will get pneumonia, they have forcast for 99*for a high and 74* for lows for the next 5 days. We are starting our summer weather pattern about a month early.

Pat as you get older the extreme change in weather will have an impact on your body.
The 65 one day and 90 the next have demonlished my sinuses.
