help. ac blower quit

Ac blower suddenly quit
On phone internet very slow
Where is fuse what should I check.

it is in cab box i think. my brothers did that and the brushes in the motor where dead he just put a new 1 in around $24.

Check fuse 23 I believe it is in the cab fuse panel, also check the blower resistor pack to the VC side of blower motor.

Fuse 22 is also one to look at it is the power to the coil on the relay for the blower to run also check the relay, I think you may be able to change it out with one of the trailer tow relays.

We are probably looking at Matt's (snackdoc)suggestion the blower motor my of went south.

Checked fuse 22 & 24 in the panel, and fuse 23 in the power distribution box per the wiring diagrams. All fuses good.

Looks like its the resistor switch or the blower motor. Thanks for your help! Glad its not vacumn controlled so I don't have to hunt down a vac leak.

I'm home now, so will search the archives for any part numbers or test procedures.

It was the blower motor. 44 bux at O'reilly's.

To remove the squirrel cage from the blower motor, remove the locking end cap with a pair of pliers, then tap on the silver rod with a hammer while pulling the squirrel cage up and away from the blower motor.

The gasket will be a pain to get back on... I left mine off as I'm traveling and will put it on right when i have more time.
