4.0 conversion

i have been told this is a relatively easy swap into my b II. has anyone ever done it or does anyone know what years of a 4.0L will fit? thanks in advance

4.0 conversion

What year is your truck? The easiest years of engine to swap in are 91-94. I have heard that if your truck is a 89-90 it is almost a plug in swap, meaning very little splicing and cutting of wires. If it is a 84-85 you have to swap the fuel lines, tank, pretty much the whole fuel system.

thanx mrit. mine is a 90' bronco II so I am glad to hear it is pretty much a plug in swap. 91 to 94 4.0 is the easiest huh. good to hear that was pretty much what i was looking for.
does anyone know if the computer tranny and radiator would have to be replaced?

what about the 86 2.9 fork injected clacking lifter engine?
