Has anybody, or know of anyone who, purchased the long tube headers from ebay for $495 for our style truck? (Type in "2007 F150 headers") I am really curious. I know you get what you paid for, but I want to know more about them. I mean, you get stainless steal headers and cats. I looked everywhere and this is the best deal that I have found.

 

I can't imagine them being a perfect easy fit for the price. I'll send the seller a note asking what brand they are and go from there. I've had good luck w/ OBX and Megan (typical ebay stuff) in the past. My cat is stopped up so for a little more $$ I might just pick these up.

 

Cool. Let me know what the guy says. It might be a while before I get them now, my truck fund just got hit with a repair bill from the paint shop.

 

it looks like reading comprehension got the better of me. The kits I found for $495 have resonators that look like cats.

Still haven't heard back from the guy but I'm positive those are OBX headers judging by the other auctions

 

Will having the resonators instead of cats cause me to fail emissions? Will I get a fault light on my dash if I use these headers/ resonator set-up? It is beginning to sound like I am going to get these but I want to make sure that I don't screw myself.

 

They are just mufflers that look like cats but you can have the check engine light turned off with either a tune or o2 sims or by doing the spark plug defouler trick.
