The other day on a job I found 3 crawling around on me, not good!

Almost at the end of White Swan Drive, behind the city`s H. McIvor Weir Water Pollution treatment plant. It`s a narrow little park like setting in a fairly ritzy neighbourhood.

Yes knock on wood here too. Have not seen any yet this year. Lots of moisture here. That maybe keeping them away and two nights of frost recently has cut down the mosquitos.

Another 3 ticks today, at home this time. The mosquitoes are around tonite so it`s a good thing it`s so windy.

Yellowstone is about to blow it's top Moe. That should thin out the ticks, fleas and skeeters for ya

I don't think Yellowstone is close enough to have an effect on Saskatchewan. As much as these little critters are a nuscience, getting rid of any one of them would cause problems somewhere else in the food chain...there's some little birds or bigger bugs out there that quite enjoy a Mozzy or tick snack
