outofcontrol,

Great write-up!

The new dash electrically just plugged in to the original harness?
I too have a PSD, the air filter minder, wait to start, etc. all those
extra dashboard lights work fine with the original harness plugged in?

looks great...does it matter if the air controls are the dials or the digital buttons? On my 05 X I have the buttons...I really like the lower cubby area also

Very nice. Can you tell us about the aux switches in the dash pocket? Those look really slick

Scratch my question..lol

I googled and figured out you replaced that part as well. Can just the lower part be replaced so we get the extra ashtray and aux "up-fitter" switches?

Doesn't matter. The OP has dials, I have digital - both work fine.

I want to put Heated extendable mirrors on my 99.5 F350 and don't want them on all the time. I want to hook them up like my 2003 X has with a timered switch . I see on this you used a crown vic switch. DOes it have timer built in like the X switch?

I don't know about under steering wheel area. I left that stock. So I don't know whats involved in upgrading it or if its even possible without replacing the whole dash.
