Steering Column Questions

Well Im in the process of rebuilding a 1966 f100, Ive replaced the steering column with one out of a 1973 f100.
Here the issue, my truck has a floor shifter, and theres the part of the column that will hold the shifter that was on the column, so now there just a part of the column with a whole in it.
Is there a replacment sleeve that i can buy to make it look good, or just find a sleeve thats for a standerd truck.

C3DZ-3790-A (replaced FEK-3790-AP) .. Steering Column Extension / Obsolete / No FoMoCo Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

This extension was used instead of a shift collar on the following vehicles:

1961/66 F100/250 2WD 4 M/T / 1966 F100 4WD 4 M/T / 1967/77 F100/350 4 M/T // 1965/66 Mustang w/an A/T or M/T (all have the shift lever on the floor).

1962/66 Falcon 4 M/T / 1963/66 Fairlane 4 M/T / 1963/64 Galaxie 4 M/T / 1965/66 Galaxie/LTD 4 M/T.

Your best bet for a used extension would be from a '65/66 Mustang (over 1 million were sold), or from one of the 1961/77 trucks that used it.

Try some Mustang restoration shops, here's a couple in CA: Mustang Service Center in North Hollywood (818-765-9266) / Mustang's Etc in Van Nuys (818-989-9684).
