Long shot, but does anyone close to Brewster, NY have a CAC hose the one right off of the turbo? While giving a final check of my truck today (before going on a long trip of course) I noticed a pretty big hole in mine. If anyone has one who is close. I was checking because boost seemed too low.
Going to check my dealer in the morning. They open at 8, we were planning on leaving at 10 so hopefully we'll stay on target. For backup I'll check out the plumming solution, something to use in a pinch.
what you need is called the hot side cac boot at the turbo. it would be advised to replace both clamps at the same time. so not throw away your old clamps just put them in the glove box or something as a just in case part. I have seen a few break.
Do yourself a favor and replace them all with a HEAVY DUTY set from Riff Raff Performance....I did and am very happy I did. The old clamps work with the new boots and I can almost guarantee you will NEVER have a problem again.
