Ok im looking to get a set of swampers....i narrowed it down to 2...a 38.5x11 bogger(currently have) for $1300, or a 38x12.5 tsl bias for $1200...which one do you guys suggest?
why the skinnies? and like mark said, what's the intended purpose? i got 7k out of a set of 40'' boggers mainly street driven and would never do that again.....
Yep 16.5, and i drive it on the street but at most 5 miles a day(normally about a mile to work and back)...never see's the highway unless im going to a mud hole/bog/drag...and i'd rather not have the skinnies but it's all my budget can afford...my woman is nagging at me to get her a ring to seal the deal, so i had to cut my tire budget a bit.
i'd go tsl's because chances are you aren't pushing enough power to fully use boggers, especially skinny ones. tsl's will last longer, and be more friendly in general across the board. did you catch this by the way? i'm not into m/t tires, but these are 16.5's and cheap. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...p-37-tire.html

Treadwright is in the town i live in, and i dont mind their tires at all, but not aggressive for what i do...and ya im not running a ton of hp, just want a good set of mud tires for summer bogs, mud drags and weekend weeling.
I'm running the TSL radials, I have the same size wheel which leaves me with very little choice in tire. They are wearing better than expected and I'm living with the noise.

Alrighty, and ya noise is no big deal to me at all...my boggers now are WAY loud even tho they are pretty bald.lol
I'm running 37x12.50 TSL SSRs on the Bronco, I'm pretty happy with them over all. They're fairly easy to keep cleaned out when you're bogging, it's difficult to get any speed if you're in the greasy stuff. They work really well in beach sand, I have no issues no matter what air pressure I run em at. For a 37 they have amazing road manners for a swamper. When I finally get to stuff the 1 tons under it, I plan on going to boggers. What I really like about these tires is they bite good but they seem to have enough give to keep me from splattering front end parts... so far anyway.

Thanks for the Info. I'm looking at getting 44" TSLs so this is just what i wanted to hear. My Gumbos are getting a little thin. haha
if you wanna be a real mall crawling showboat i heard you can now get them thornbirds in 53" size.
You can keep your piece of crap thornbirds and your "MALL CRAWLER" and i'll get a tire worth spending some money on, THEN put them on my pickup that im gonna mud...my pickup has never seen the mall and probably never will. So where you get that idea, not too sure...may need to lay off the drugs a little bit
O and i also found me a set of 37x14" bias iroks for only like $1200 for 4...anyone know if they are worth a darn? or to just stick with getting the tsl's?
