Today i got everything unbolted and took off the connectors. Soon ill be unbolting the bellhousing bolts to slide the trans down and take a better look at it. Iv pretty much settled on a rebuilt trans from ford. Does Ford's trans come with a new TQ? Anybody have some tips for the final removal of the trans? Im using a floor jack and home fabbd adapter. Should i support the engine? I dropped the rear of the trans to see how much the engine moves and it didnt to much so I dont think Ill need to support the engine
Ford says to keep the warrenty i need an external ATF cooler. Any suggestions on what brand and size to go with?
