All this sounds fine and dandy until someone is injured or, heaven forbid, killed by a grossly overloaded vehicle. After which that person will find out the hard way what the legal payload of the truck is/was. If someone is killed or injured by an overloaded vehicle the operator will pay a very heavy price both financially and morally. There are valid reasons for the GVWR limits on trucks.
Enough said I am off my soapbox.
And just to add, your car insurance wouldn't have to pay either...
