Might be possible, but a big expensive job. The 2009 is a 3 valve, the 2001 a 2 valve. Would need to change all wiring and ECM, no idea if your instrument cluster would work. I don't recommend doing these swaps on Fords, just too many differences year to year. Buy a good used or rebuilt 2009 V-10. don't try to use something just because you have it laying around.

That's why we are in the spot we are in. Spent almost 1000 in parts trying to fix the one that's in there work but using a shade tree mechanic that couldn't wait on the new oil pump to come in before he drove it again and locked it up. Thank you we were not sure and spending more money on something that's not going to work. Thank you again
