I'm missing the plug shown in the pic attached. When I ad water to the radiator it spills out this hole in the rear driver's side of the block. What is it called and where can I get a new one?
You should be able to get one at any auto parts store or hardware store as mentioned above. There should be one just like it on the other side. Take that one out and take it with you so you can be sure that you get the correct drain plug.
I was thinking freeze plug, maybe that's why it was missing.

Good tip about the other side, that will save me some time/hassle.
The freeze plugs are the larger ones and are tapped in. That looks like a block drain to me. There should be threads in the hole if you look at it carefully.

I haven't had the chance, it's been covered by almost a full inch of grease. I spent the afternoon degreasing it and now you can see some cast iron down there. I'll check but i'm sure you're right.
Its 1/4 NPT, like bill said it should have had a drain **** in it but I have just not had good luck with those so I replace it with an allen head drain plug for easy future removal.
