1959 Vin plate decoding

have a 59 f250 already got the vin figured out just trying to see what the rest of the tag means, Appreciate any help.

color:S
date:f25c d5a
Trans:A
Axle:04
D.S.O:2134

When I do Bill corrects it, but here's what my inferior book has;

WB is wheelbase in inches
color S is special order - could be anything
afaik there is no date code on the tag
Trans A is standard 3 spd
Axle 04 is 4.56:1 ratio
DSO - domestic special order codes are not available

MODEL: F25 = F250 / C = ? Doesn't belong there.

The date cannot be D5A. Should be two numbers, then a letter.

1957/60 Rating Plate:

First line: VIN // 2nd line: W.B. / Color / Model / Date / Trans / Axle // 3rd line: GVW / Cert. net HP / RPM / DSO

ill have to double check the date numbers anyidea what rear it might be? its floater but never seen anything like it, but then again truck is older then my parents...lol

1957/85 F250: Dana 60. The truck may be older than your parents, but when it came out in 1959, I was 15 years old. You must be a real young un!
