I went to get in my 65 F100 and the door wouldnt close. After looking at it, it would appear that the small circular tension spring inside the door has broke. Any ideas on how or where to get one? THANKS!
If this spring is located on the door latch, it was only furnished with the latch.
If it's located on the door lock remote control (the handle attaches to it), it was only furnished with it.
If it's located somewhere else, I haven't a clue, cuz I don't think it's located anywhere else. I'm betting it's the curly-cue spring on the remote control.

Yeah, I got the part I need, still need to put it in.
On this vein, Im having trouble getting the driver door on my 65 to latch all the way. It clocks once and holds, but doesn't make the second click to close all the way. Tried trimming the loose weather stripping to no avail. Is this common?

I would look at alignment maybe? I have never had this problem with mine.
It lines up alon the path it travels, but doesn't seem to make it in far enough to clear the second ridge on the receiver. I tried force, and don't see anything binding or indication the door is misalligned.

It may need a new reciever part. I think LMC truck has them pretty cheap. My guess is that it is worn down some, maybe?
