JUST WANTED TO WARN ANYONE CONSIDERING USING POPS PERFORMANCE IN KY. HERE IS A RESPONSE I GOT WHEN I THREATENED TO COME TO HIS SHOP FOR THE ENGINE PARTS I PAID $4000 FOR MORE THAN A YEAR AGO. THIS IS FROM THE OWNER HIMSELF DENNIS SOWDER WHO CLAIMS TO RUN HIS SHOP ON CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES. WHAT A HYPOCRITE.

you obviously do not understand the law or your just a dumb ***.so let me clue you in.here in the us the law is you cannot threaten someone with bodily harm, you have committed a crime,i have further sent your crime act to the local police department and you are now on record in the u.s. as having committing a crime, further more i have the luxury here to own and carry a fire arm,and i carry a very nice 38 special, so if you step one foot on my property i will use whatever force, including deadly force if necessary, to protect my family, employees and or myself.so i suggest you consult legal advice before you wind up being sent back from the USA in a body bag.do not contact me further as your emails will be blocked and any further pursuit will be forwarded to the federal bureau of investigation,as well as a restraining order provided by the local judge.

There is absolutely two sides to every story and i welcome Pops to comment as i have previously sent him copies of the posts on the Boss 302 forum. Its true i am new to this site but i have used it for useful information
as my business here in Australia is restoring classic cars, mainly mustangs. I am not the only one here in Oz to be ripped off by Pops, another guy has been waiting nearly 2 years for his Cammer engine and has paid nearly $25K already and unfortunatley he still believes that he will get it because of the lies Dennis Sowder, the owner of Pops has told him.
A close friend of mine also bought some 427 rockers through an agent here and has not received them yet because the agent said that he was still waiting for them to ship out from Pops Performance.
I make no Apologies for joining this website just to warn you all about Pops, us Ford guys are his whole business and together we can send him a message that we won't accept being ripped off. Quite frankly i don't have the time for all this and maybe i should just rollover and forget about it but thats just not me.
This guy has pissed me so bad that i intend joining every Ford forum i can to spread the word about this parasite.
Regards Brad
I don't know of all the situation or the validity of the "email". I would reserve judgement unless I was personally involved. As always you have some good deals and bad deals. Hopefully you guys can work out your issues. Peace.
Does anyone know how to get a hold of Dennis Sowder, I had made a sizeable deposit on a cammer engine too. He has been telling me all year that he is waiting on Bill Coons and now his phones are disconnected.
I would appreciate that. From the posts I've seen here it appperars that he may have done this to several people. I have a call into the Grayson County attorney to file a complaint. If enough people have made deposits and haven't received parts, engines or refunds we may be able to have him charged or possibly get some of our money back.

Check out the KY section of the forum....Theres more members there, that'll have some more direct insight on this...
So let me get this straight... You ordered this stuff from this guy even though someone you know ordered something 2 years ago and still doesn't have what he bought???
