I recommend Tyrant Diesel Tunes by Cale if u decide to keep that TS Chip. You will be very very happy with his tunes. He is still getting his business going, so sometimes it is hard to get a hold of him. But his Customer Service is top notch.
I run Wildman tunes, great guy and great tunes! There's quite a selection that you can choose from to reburn your chip.

I don't think it's worth the cost to get rid of your chip to buy a DP. He doesn't offer anything above and beyond anybody else; pretty much all of them have great tunes and customer service. It's just personal preference, and then who lives closest to you so you can live tune!
I really like the DP tunes, but one of the things that I also like so much is the F5/F6 switcher ( I don't like the **** at all) and the fact that I can have up to 16 tunes on the chip if I want them. DP does have unique hardware, but for the most part, they all have great customer service.
It is pretty darn hard to choose who to go with. About 90 percent of my driving is going to and from work. On the weekends I will pull a heavy trailer, or a camper, or whatever else someone asks me to tow.
So I guess I am looking for a very good economy/daily driver tune, and a light, and heavy tow tune. I am not looking for any race tunes, or smoke tunes. My truck isn't fast enough to be racing around just yet, maybe in the future.
Tunes- Stock, High Idle, Economy, Tow, Heavy Tow, No Start or maybe like an 80-100 hp tune.

it may seem like its a big deal but its not really! the differences in the tuners wont really make a difference to a guy like you whose truck is mainly stockish and youre not looking to hot rod everywhere. i used to run dp but now i run swamps tuning. my father in law runs tyrant tuning (BTS). my father in law used to have an old, very old 4 position van aacken chip in his truck with wildman tunes on it before he switched to modern day tuning technology. i have experience with 4 different tuners. just send your chip to tony wildman and he will hook you up with the tunes you want. it doesnt make any sense for you to get rid of your TS chip and pay for another chip from dp. you can get this done for 150 bucks to reburn somewhere or if you buy a whole other chip youll spend close to 500 or more......you could also try out Matt at gearhead performance. there are alot of guys that run his tuning and like the way he makes the trans shift.......jmo.....
Dennis, I will recommend Power Hungry. Having had other tuners (DP and Bully Dog) for me Bill's tunes work the best. I notice you run a 6sp. Bills tunes specificly for manual trannys. there are throttle differences and other paramiters that can be adjusted for the handshakers. And Bill's service is spot on and Cody,(Cleatus on here) also helps out. they were both there for me last week when I was having issues with my truck.(came down to stupidity on my side). but they were there. Bill even called me at 10:30 Pm his time to see how the repairs were coming and if he could call some friends of his in CO to come to my aide.
Bottom line comes down to who you feel comfortable with. Call and have a visit with different tuners. tell them what you want, how you drive and then pick your poison!
Hey Barney thank you for your opinion. The fact that Bill gears his tunes towards a manual makes a big difference for me. Everyone talks about how great the tunes control your shift points, but since I have a "hand shaker" that doesn't really affect me!
I am going to call him up, and try to talk to him, and get his opinion on the best tunes for me.
Another vote for Bill @ PHP! I don't have a manual but his tunes are great and not a real touchy throttle so I could see why with a manual they would be good.
I just put a PHP chip with Stock, 40 and 65 tow tunes and a 38R in my Dad's 99.5 six speed that runs around at 7,300 feet daily driving and hauling up to around 10k feet. That truck runs sweet. Not even a hint of touchy throttle which is very important because he does a lot of slow crawling in low gear with the horse trailer in high mountain terrain mainly wash-boarded USFS roads.
