My question is can I get away with going 4" after the Cat only?-save your money and buy a whole mandrel bent 4" system...so many nowadays a whole kit with muffler (or straight which is cheaper) are all over the market....IMO straight pipe it....IMO. I love mine and will never go back. I want to also install gauges I soon as I can decide what type, a lot of them to choose from, and of course everyone of them are "THE BEST ON THE MARKET." - I installed glow gauges and have a quadzilla standalone apillar mount. It all depends on the look you want. I mounted 4 above my rearview in a 4 pod, one ine the dash (drilled a 2" hole) and the a pillar setup. I monitor egt coolant trans EOT Fuel psi volts LOP and boost.....overkill but that is just me. A scangauge II is nice also.
I have a 2005 F-250 6.0L and will be towing a 32' fifth wheel travel trailer, which, by the sticker on the trailer says the max weight loaded is around 13,888 lbs. All though I'll never load that much in it to get close to that number.
The only things I have done so far is install a coolant filter system and will be installing Firestone Air Bags tomorrow.
Any help or advice from you and anyone else will be greatly appreciated!
Tex is running a modified engine and I trust his opinions, as many do on this site (just look at his reps). The best thing to do is SAVE your money and buy the right stuff....not just SETTLE.....you'll regret it later. Tow your truck stock and save your money....buy all you need when you get back

Good Luck

Thanks again Joe. I'm going with the complete 4" system, then look/buy the gauges. I'll do that for awhile then maybe do a tuner.
