Most likely the 5120 kg is GVW.
My F450 with dump bed, toolbox, tank of fuel and me goes over 10,000 lb curb weight, but is having 15k GVW.

My 2001 F250 7.3L with a Stahl Grand Challenger service body weighed out at 8,170 with full fuel and me (plus tools) over a certified scale.

That would be your tare weight. Curb weight is the base truck minus tools boxes etc.
