A few weeks ago I was driving my Excursion through New York City. This is typically referred to as "a bad idea," although it is nice to have the option to park on top of a Prius.

As I was going down the highway, I heard this loud "pop" and then the glass for my passenger side mirror (these are factory towing mirrors) popped off. Not just the big top glass, but also the little bottom glass.

The housing itself seems completely undamaged. These mirrors are power and heated. I would like to be able to just pop new glass on, but can't seem to find the part number anywhere for it, and can't find it on eBay. Should I just give up and buy an entire new mirror?

You can get the replacements from burco dot com. You might want to shop around for a used mirror assembly tho. The price comparison for both mirrors compared to a new whole unit might startle you.
