ok the truck has sat for 6 months now because of surguries and wanted to ask if anyone thought it would be better to turn motor over by hand a few times to get oil to heads? this is truck in my sig. thanks for any answers.
I would just use the starter. Chances are that the fuel has leaked down and you will have to crank for a few seconds, and by the time it starts the oil pressure will have built up.
i'm up walking without any support but not 100%, about 75% i'd say. harder to relearn to walk than to learn the first time. It's a pricey thing($7500) and it's not el/macanical at all, but has rotation and built in shock absorber to make walking easier.
if your gunna crank it you might as well try to get it to start, just watch the oil pressure if it fires up, you wont move much oil cranking it by hand
