hand crank?

I had bent push rod (exhaust) and i need to know the best way to turn the engine over by hand. Engine is in the truck.

Pull the glow plugs and remove the fan and get a 18mm socket and breaker bar on the main pulley bolts.

Pull the glow plugs and use a belt filter wrench to turn motor over
