HELP?
I currently have a all original 80 f150(besides the engine) i have had problems with the truck missing ever since i have had it just never had time too fix it and also not sure really wat is wrong with the thing but wat it is doin is whenever u start it up the engine wants too idle real high and miss but whenever your out driving it u can not tell it is missing one bit i have been told that it could be the intake gasket leaking but really not for sure.Does anybody have any idea?

Im pretty sure our trucks are supposed to idle high until they reach operating temperature. As far as the misfire, have you checked all the usual items? Plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, rotor button, compression on each cylinder, timing? A misfire usually indicates one of these items or a combination of them can be the issue.
