Im might be wrong, but if its carburated then it shouldn't have a computer. I thought EEC-IV was for fuel injection.

The EEC-IV or TFI-IV systems are the models with the feedback carburetor.

The EEC-IV / TFI-IV system was for both EFI and Feedback Carb systems within the years 1984-1987 etc... after 1988 it was EFI only etc...

Feedback Carb Systems 1980-1983 used the EEC-III / DS-III or the MCU / DS-II system on the pickups.

EEC-I and EEC-II were for cars "pintos etc.." and started in 1978.

They are located on the passenger side fender in the engine compartment.

Or on the drivers side inner fender, depending on year.

Well, being that I am a chevy guy, I guess I got told huh? I had no idea a thing such as a feedback carb even existed! Did chevy's ever have a carb similar to this feedback carb?

AutoZone may or may not have the reader. The ones around here do not carry them anymore for anything less than the newer systems. But if you do a search on here you"ll find a writeup on how to read them using a hot wire finder. It works good. Check on the Inline 6 forum on here.
