i called frord--ats--& international---none ofthem have the o-ring that goes between the stand-drain pipe & turbo, or the grommit that the stand drainpipe fits into the vally pan, ford didn't even have one that the cdr sits in that i would cut down wtf
if any of you have access to them please help
oil is pissing out------i'm stressing
Ever heard of RTV? - just kidding, thats hillbilly stuff, that sucks you cant get parts. I'm gonna be stocking up on banks parts pretty soon cause they stopped making them.
Contact typ4, I believe he can still get them......
Do you have a link to a photo gallery Joe? I think you're CC has the same graphics package on the side as my buddy's ECLB and I just want to confirm....
Grommet is very simple to do. I used the factory grommet and cut the baffles out of a mr.gasket breather baffle. mr. gasket part number is 5425. You can get the regular cdr grommet at most parts stores. I used ultra black silicone to glue the two together. It works prefect and is a nice tight fit on the oil drain pipe for the turbo.
You can use standard oil resistant felpro gasket material on the grommet area between stand drain and turbo. Thats easy. The part numbers from ford for the cdr tube that you cut down to make the valve cover seal and to the cdr bracket are E8TZ-6A892-A and E3TZ-6A892-A. One is the retainer, the E3 one and the other is the tube, E8. They come together or separate but you will need them both. As for the other seal, i think the only other ones are the top oil feed mount if you have the cast piece and the intake hat seal but thats another story. Edit...the valley pan one can be made from the cdr tube seal that goes to the valve cover. Let me know if you need more info there. Mine is all stock but i have it all planned out for when i need to replace things as, yes, ford has stopped making alot of it. Someone crafty and lots of free time needs to cast the stock pieces in plaster of paris making sure to get all of the bubbles out and then inject ultra grey into the mold to make some. It would help us all out alot.
oh and yeah it has been awhile. school and preparing for potential fast orders to japan. always fun!!
Oring between the intake and cdr or valve cover bracket and cdr E3TZ-6A892-A - Ford GASKET - REGULATING
Tube for cdr, can be cut for turbo apps. E8TZ-6A892-A - Ford RETAINER
correct part number for the valley pan drain for turbo apps F3TZ-6853-A-FORD-TUBE ASY
oring for turbo to drain part number is F3TZ-6N653-B but i cant find a seller. If you have the old one, take it to a parts store and match it up. should be about an inch or so. i know the intake to turbo is 2" ID and a larger size one but thats all i measured, shoot!!
