So just to make sure that im 100 percent understanding after draining my system pull the cover off the top of my oil cooler and shoot some hot water the hole and try to wash that crap out also got a quart of vc9 today but the guy at the dealer said to only use 4-6 ounces is that correct
make sure you got a good seal around the hole before giving it water pressure,if you don't you'll get wet.and use the vc9 after you backflush the cooler, then backflush it after the vc9 treatment until it comes out clean.I took the left side block plug out and left my bottom radiatoe hose off when I did mine.and use the full quart on it.after all the backflushing you'll still need to flush the system to,I just filled it normally, got it hot,and pulled the lower radiator hose off.and repeat that about a dozen times until clean.
So drain the system then backflush the cooler then fill back up the system a put the vc9 in I will have the thermostat removed how long should I leave the vc9 in

I believe the bottle says 20 min. but you will see better results if go drive around for at least an hour..
