v10 harness plugs

v10 harness plugs
I am new to this forum but have been reading it for a couple weeks now. My question is, has anyone had to replace the plastic plug end for the injectors and also the coil packs on our v10s? I just replaced the spark plugs and unfortunately a couple of the locking tabs on the harness plugs broke. I also noitced that someone had this issue with the injector plugs. I visited a local ford dealer, very helpful, and they handed me a replacement pigtail kit. At $24 a piece I'm wondering if there is an aftermarket company that makes them, or if I can find what type of connector it is and just buy the plastic piece. I anyone can help please feel free. Thank you in advance.

Maybe try a junk yard and get all 10 for a cheap price. You could probably look at the connectors from the 5.4L engines, too. There's a lot of those out there on F150's and Expeditions.

Im the same as labman! Ive broken a ton of em and use little zip ties to hold them tight if they dont feel right. Some of them are fine just pushed in. Di electric gel and zip ties + no problem. The zip ties do a better job anyway.
