P1211

I wanted to see if my truck was throwing a code since I installed a new exhaust system Saturday. My bully dog triple dog GT has a diagnostics section and it says it's throwing a P1211. I think I've seen this before and think it's an over boost code. Anyone know?

Truck is a 2001 7.3 w/ 151k miles. One in sig

Common on trucks running tunes. It means your HPOP can't keep up with the demand from the (VERY oil hungry) stock injectors. I was setting that code all the time until I went with hybrids. No longer an issue and I'm holding 2800+ psi now.

What can I do to get rid of the code for good, without replacing my injectors?

Big oil, otherwise known as dual HPOPs.

1211 code is normally because the tuner is keeping the injector open too long.
properly written tunes WILL NOT set this code. but that requires tunes written by a custom tuners, not over the counter tunes. Power Hungry, Tony Wildman, Gearhead, DP tuner are just a few.

Plugged fuel filters will cause this also. But you will notice a big drivabilty issue if its lack of fuel

You can install an ungraded HPOP like an Adrenaline from Dieselsite, or upgrades from Terminator or Riffraff
