how can i adjust the Camber / Caster Bushings and can i adjust the stock ones i have on my truck now, im doing a coil lift, or will i have to buy the adjustable ones from napa
Stock bushings and the bushings used at most alignment shops are one function, or one setting and not adjustable.
They will usually be stamped something like "0 Camber/ +1.5 Caster" meaning no camber is built in with positive 1.5 caster.
An adjustable bushing has several notches to fit the spindle tang, so it can be rotated. 2 settings will only effect camber, 2 settings only effect caster and then there are 4 settings that alter camber and caster.
The instruction sheet that came with my NAPA bushings explained things very well.
Well i talked to an alignment shop and he said its goin to be easy just to extend the brackets for the TTB with the spacers so thats what im goin to do insted, now how about my steering linkage will that be affected and need adjustment
