Extreme Adjustable camber caster bushings

Ok I put the 2" spring spacers in my f150 and just got the extreme adjustable camber caster bushings.

My question is where should I set them when I put em in? I'm going to put them in myself before an allignment but I might have to drive it a day or two before I can get in for an allignment.

Anyone know where I should set them?

Put them in but dont put the nut on. Put the tire on and set it on its own weight. See how it looks. Adjust accordingly. Take into account for spring settle

When I did alignments I used to HATE those adjustable bushings. They are really hard to remove after they have been installed for any length of time. The alignment tech would probably prefer you reinstall the fixed ones. The procedure is: hook up sensors to get caster/camber readings, remove old bushingsto see what deg offset they are, then calculate the bushing you need to get it in spec. If a fixed bushing can get the job done I'd go with that... they are way cheaper. If you replace with adjustable bushings the tech will have to try to remove them without breaking them up too much to be reused, then refer to the chart to figure out where they are set then calculate the change needed and refer to the chart to figure where to set them.

WOW, I wish I made that much doing them. I think about 4 years ago the last on I did we got 49.95 for a FEA, and .8 hrs/side on the bushings at 75/hr. Anyway, If you want to try to do it yourself I'll try to help. You first need to figure out what your camber is now. You'll need a level area to work on. A camber gauge would be a huge help but I imagine you could do it with a level and a protractor of some sort or another way to figure the angle of the wheel. I recomend getting the toe in close before taking measurements because if its way out it will effect the camber. You need to drive forward onto the level surface and stop without backing up, then take your measurements as backing up will throw it out. As far as caster goes, I'd just set it to about the same as the old bushings had it set at... maybe a little more +caster.

My iPhone has the level that shows the degrees.

I'd want the camber as close to 0 as possible right? Is it better to be a little off on the +or- side?

Front wheel where currently parked

Going by that the fronts about 4.5degrees out from the rear....

I'll check it again if I can find a level road tomorrow
